Reviewed in the United States on Octo I was very intrigued to learn a faster method for English Paper Piecing. I thought the book was well written and I did enjoy 4/5.

English Paper Piecing Tutorial Video Learn how to Paper Piece. You can use copy machine paper, vellum, newspaper print, tracing paper, wash away paper, or freezer paper.

Pretty much any paper can work, however those that can be run through a copy machine are best. Some perform better than others. English Paper Piecing, (EPP) requires only; paper, fabric, scissors, thread, and needles, so it’s a great craft to take with you & also doesn’t require the investment of machine sewing/quilting.

The Technique. Select your paper templates, you can buy pre-cut shapes or print out and cut your own at home. English Paper Piecing and I don’t have a very deep relationship, although I wish we did.

English Paper Piecing is often referred to as Hand Piecing or hand sewing and is a traditional sewing method that utilizes a running stitch to sew fabric pieces together. The hand sewer sews a ¼” seam allowance with needle and thread by, beginning a ¼” from the end of the shape, loading stitches on the needle and finishing ¼” away from.
