ABT's The Healthy Dancer is informative, but I wish it gave more information on how to treat injuries (they tell you to R.I.C.E. & go to a doctor) I do think this book is something that every parent of a dancer/athlete and dance instructor should have on hand.
It is a good reference book for growing dancer/athlete and keeping them healthy/5(11). Still, I find this book fascinating. I like that this book gives very personal insight into the perspectives of various dancers on subjects such as diet, exercise, and overall living a good life without assuming that you, the reader, are a dancer or will ever be a dancer at any level/5(24).
